Even without the additional treatment, all our new fabrics are crafted with synthetic fibres, making them less absorbent and easier to clean—more practical for everyday life compared to natural fabrics.

How and why the additional treatment?
The process involves treating fabrics with C0 (C-Zero), a fluorine-free, stain-resistant coating similar to Scotchgard. This treatment provides excellent water repellency and stain resistance while being environmentally friendly, as it doesn’t leave long-lasting residues, minimizing its ecological impact.
As it provides the most benefit in the kitchen/dining space, we currently offer the additional treatment only on our dining chair and stool collection. While we aspire to expand this offering to our entire range, we recommend using Guardsman Fabric Protector for added protection on other upholstered furniture.
