IconByDesign nominated as finalists for 2022 Retail Awards

We’re finalists yet again! This time by Inside Retail Australia for the 2022 Retailer Awards for two categories - both with a focus on our customers.  

At Icon By Design, we are a customer-driven business and we believe customer happiness is fundamental to the success of the company. When feedback is received, both positive and negative, it is acknowledged, analysed and actioned with the highest priority. 

For 2022, it gives us great please to announce that our award nominations are centered around our customers and include:

- Best Customer Service Team of the Year
- Best Customer Service Initiative for Video Consultations

These awards recognize and validate our commitment to our customers.

As mentioned, we are a customer centric company, driven by our customer feedback and measure our success as a team by our customer ratings, which are at world-class levels.

We strive for excellence in how we go about doing our roles and we exist to serve our customers. All aspects of our business focus on excellence in serving our customer: In-store, via social, by phone or online chat, our email dialogue and their user experience on our online store.

In July 2021 we implemented Video Consultations into our customer service offering, as a key digital service. This online service allows customers to book an appointment with one of our friendly customer care team members who are then able to answer any questions or concerns they may have. 

The Video Consultations concept is critically important, as we do not yet have any showrooms in the US market. Being able to connect our Australian customer care team with our American customers inside our showroom gives them a strong sense of trust in the brand and comfort with their purchase.

IconByDesign is an Australian-designed, Scandinavian-inspired, mid century modern furniture company that has recently launched in the USA. We are a family business that focuses on crafting sustainable and eco-friendly pieces that are made from solid American wood at factory direct prices.
