Magnus Sideboard in Solid American Wood
It’s cocktail hour and the Scandinavian style Magnus sideboard is doing double duty as your bar cart.
Here’s how to do it in style:
🍾 Keep your spirits up: Stock your bar with a selection of Scotch, tequila, gin, whiskey, vodka, rum, and liqueurs.
🍹 Add essential mixers: Juice, simple syrup, bitters, tonic water, soda.
🧊 Ice is nice: Make sure there’s plenty of it.
🥄 Have your accoutrements ready: A shaker, a strainer, a muddler, and a jigger are the tools of the cocktail trade.
🥃 Make sure your glasses are sparkling clean: Think tumblers, martini glasses, champagne flutes, highballs, and wine glasses.
🍋 Add a garnish: Lemon twists, maraschino cherries, olives, mint, granulated sugar and coarse salt add a bit of oomph.

Sourcing of Materials
We work hard to ensure that we’re always producing sustainable furniture. For example, the solid American oak which makes up the bulk of the Magnus sideboard is sourced from American forests which embrace sustainable principles - meaning the wood is sustainably harvested, works to restore the ecosystem, implements a replanting process, undertakes consistent environmental monitoring, and respects the land rights of indigenous peoples.
We also use oak because it's hardy and it lasts - it has a natural strength which makes it ideal for the interior home environment. Unlike veneered furniture, there's less damage from wear and tear so you don't have to throw it out to replace it with something equally replaceable.
What to Furnish With
There is much variation in American Oak color, depending upon the forest it is sourced from and the cut of timber used. It is a versatile timber, with natural variations that can't be helped, but should work in with any other American Oak item very nicely.
