Our timbers are all milled with the quarter sawn techinque, being one of the most sustainable and strong cuts of timber. The varied width planks are laminated together to create the whole and shaped from there, creating beautiful items with their own unique and individual character. Each item will have it's own unique and natural characteristics such as knots, vein and grain patterns, all showing the full story of the growth of the trees the item is produced from.

We recommend a weekly dust with a dry microfibre cloth and using a timber specific clean and polish product once a month to add a UV protection to your unit and help to prevent wear and tear. We recommend the use of coasters and placements and avoid placing hot or wet items directly onto the unit top.

There is much variation in American Oak colour, depending upon the forest it is sourced from and the cut of timber used. It is a versatile timber, with natural variations that can't be helped, but should work in with any other American Oak item very nicely. We can't gaurantee it will match perfectly, but the beauty of the warm tones will compliment each other.
