Oak is one of the most durable natural materials. To keep it in optimal condition we recommend a weekly dust with a dry microfiber cloth and using a timber specific clean and polish product once a month to add a UV protection to your table and help to prevent wear and tear. We recommend avoiding heat coming into contact with your piece and moisture will need to be wiped dry promptly. Weight distribution on the shelves should be relatively even to prevent warping.
One of the beautiful things about real wood is that piece is slightly unique. Real wood has genuine variation in tone and shade that isn’t achievable with veneers. Our American Oak has rich, warm tones. It will work match closest with other American Oak pieces but it will well with other warm toned timbers. You can request a timber sample to aid your choice.
