      Customer Questions & Answers

This rug has been constructed from the finest quailty T141, 3.8 Nm, 3 Ply New Zealand wool.
      0.25lbs/cu ft or 4kg/sq m
This style of rug is made using a Hand Knotted process. This process involves a yarn being tied in individual knots and cut to create the rug. The weaver cuts each strand with the knife (called a Churi) after the knot is tied. After a full row has been completed, they use a comb (called a Panja) to push down the weft (left to right yarns) and make it tight, compact, and dense.
